Syl is a professional musician, guitar player and composer. He studied contemporary music at the London Guitar Institute of Technology and received a Master's from London UWL University and The Academy of Music and Sound.

Since the 2010s, Syl has been performing, teaching, composing and recording music in Asia / China. Passionate about blues, rock, jazz, fusion and all forms of modern and classical music, Syl is now exploring ethnomusic compositional research and live performances.
